Studiofluid is a Los Angeles design firm specializing in branding, web and print design for developing businesses. Benjamin R. Thompson, Owner and Principal Designer there (pictured to the right), wrote to us about how he uses Basecamp:
I've been following 37signals since the manifesto days, so when I began Studiofluid in 2004, I knew Basecamp was exactly the tool I needed streamline my workflow and handle the increasing burden of project management and client communication.
After several years of operating as the only full-time employee in my company, I clearly see that Basecamp provides me the infrastructure of a larger company, while allowing me to retain the flexibility of a smaller one. That is why I include it as a selling point in every proposal I write.
Recently, Studiofluid completed a packaging project for Coop Italia, one of the largest supermarkets in Italy. I was able to manage my team of 3 local, but remotely located designers, communicate efficiently with the client located on another continent, and deliver a product that we're extremely proud of.
The client remarked, "California is far from Italy but the ideas can run very speedily." Very true, and I directly attribute that to using your product.
I've had multiple clients tell me after working with me on Basecamp, that it is far better than the custom solutions they've sunk thousands of dollars into developing (and abandoning) over the years.
Below: Studiofluid pitches clients with a "we keep you involved" approach that emphasizes Basecamp.

Do you use a 37signals product in an interesting or noteworthy way? Let us know.
